The Outterside Centre
This newly refurbished waterfront venue, located at picturesque Abbotsford Point, offers a diverse range of facilities.
The facility includes 2 rooms with spectacular water views as well as outdoor and balcony areas, dormitory style accommodation and its own private jetty. The first-class rowing facility is ideal for corporate team building activities. With harbour glimpses, The Centre is a mere 15 minutes by Parramatta Rivercat from the city with the ferry stop literally on the doorstep.
The Outterside Centre is located at 5 Teviot Avenue, Abbotsford Point (at the end of Great North Road).
The main room offers a large open space with a seating capacity of 110 theatre style and standing room for 150. It includes a large balcony overlooking the Parramatta River. The second room is situated at ground level and opens out onto the apron, pontoon and BBQ areas.
Catering
We have a preferred Gold Licence Caterer for the venue. Whether it is an elegant dinner or a conference package our Caterer has an amazing repertoire of imaginative and sophisticated menu options which are constantly applauded.
Our Caterer holds a Gold Licence industry acknowledged food and beverage catering service, with a NSW Caterers Liquor Licence. All menus are custom designed to suit our clients' needs. Please enquire regarding packages and prices.
Corporate Team Building
The Outterside Centre is the home of Sydney Boys High School's rowing programme and, as such, offers its first-class rowing facility for an exhilarating corporate team building day. All programmes are run by an experienced, qualified facilitator who will develop a programme to suit your company’s needs. Our specialised rowing coaches are also available to guide your team irrespective of their experience.
Our in-house caterer has a number of catering packages for you to choose from to ensure that your day is a success for everyone. From a casual BBQ outside by the water to elegant cocktails and canapés at the end of the day, there are endless tempting options. Please enquire regarding packages and prices.

The Outterside Centre is the ideal accommodation venue for sporting or school groups. The facility boasts a relaxed dining area
downstairs as well as a refurbished meeting room upstairs. A large outdoor area with a BBQ is suitable
for alfresco dining.
With a private jetty enabling water taxis or a small ferry to moor, as well as a bus stop and Rivercat (ferry) stop on the doorstep, The Outterside Centre is conveniently located to the city as well as the rest of Sydney.
